Adel bin Siraj Mirdad ( Arabic عادل بن سراج مرداد, DMG ʿĀdil b. Sirāǧ Mirdād ; bl. 2013 - 2017 ) is a Saudi diplomat .

Education

In 1993 he received his PhD from Wayne State University for the thesis' Foreign Television Programs and Their Sources: An Empirical Analysis of Media Usage and Perceptions of its Effects by Young Viewers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ''

Career

From May 16, 2013 to December 31, 2016, he was ambassador to Ankara and at the same time, based in Ankara, he was also accredited as an ambassador in Baku ( Azerbaijan ).

In 2017 he became State Secretary for Politics and Economy in the Saudi Foreign Ministry .
