Adi Rinner

Adi Rinner (born March 1, 1938 in Schwaz , Tyrol ) is an Austrian composer and conductor .

At the age of 13 he was already active as a flugelhorn player in the Terfens wind orchestra near Schwaz. He completed his studies at the Tyrolean State Conservatory in Innsbruck , where he passed the examination as Kapellmeister . His professors were Sepp Tanzer , Alois Fintl and Otto Ulf .

He is head of the brass music department of a renowned music publisher in Innsbruck. As a conductor, he led the wind orchestras of Terfens and Weer as well as the Alpenland brass band he founded for many years . For the Musikbund Schwaz he excelled as a district youth officer and district music director. He has been a judge in the Tyrolean Brass Band Association for many years.

Since his retirement he has been a freelance composer and arranger.
