The Admiral von Knorr was an outpost boat of the Imperial Navy , which was used as a fish steamer after the First World War . It belonged to the Blücher type, of which a total of 48 vehicles were produced.

history

The boat was named after Admiral Eduard von Knorr (1840–1920). It was launched on April 25, 1918 and served in the North Sea outpost flotilla on May 13 . The decommissioning took place on March 24, 1919; the boat was not taken over into the Reichsmarine .

In March 1919, was Admiral Knorr to the trawler shipping company sold Wieting and as George Robbert with the external identification BX ( Bremerhaven found) 132 into service. On June 16, 1930, the boat received the registration number ON ( Free State of Oldenburg - Nordenham ) 123, as it had become the property of the North Sea German Deep Sea Fisheries. On September 4, 1934 it was given the fishing license PG ( Free State of Prussia - Geestemünde ) 444. On September 15, 1939, it was sold for scrapping.
