Adolf Aeschbach

Adolf Aeschbach (born October 8, 1888 in Burg ; † March 19, 1969 in Menziken ; reformed , resident in Burg) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).

biography

Adolf Aeschbach was born in Burg on October 8, 1888, the son of smallholder and factory worker Friedrich Aeschbach. After visiting the community and civic school in Petersburg, he worked as spurs busy and packers in a cigar factory, in 1908, he completed an apprenticeship as head Zigarrenmacher, then he was until 1918 factory workers in the cigar industry.

From 1918 to 1955, he was secretary of the Association of Trade, Transport and Food Workers in Switzerland. The social democrat Aeschbach served as Aargau Councilor from 1921 to 1961 . He was also a member of the National Council from 1943 to 1959 . Aeschbach campaigned for the betterment of tobacco workers in the Oberwynen and Seetal and thus gained popularity among the workers. He also worked as a judge from 1925 to 1957 and as Vice President of the Kulm District Court from 1933 to 1957 .

Adolf Aeschbach, who married Lina from Burg, born in 1919, died on March 19, 1969 at the age of 80 in Menziken.
