Adolf Blasek

Adolf Blasek (born November 3, 1919 in Schmollen , Oels district , Silesia , † December 23, 2008 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Blasek attended an elementary school and initially trained as a surveyor . In 1938 he had to do labor service and then to join the armed forces . In 1947 he was released from captivity .

Initially active in private surveying, Blasek switched to the Neukölln district office as a surveyor in May 1949 . From February 1966 he headed the Neukölln redevelopment administration office. In August 1972, Blasek became managing director of the " Stadt und Land Wohnbautengesellschaft mbH ".

politics

In 1963 , Blasek was first elected a member of the Berlin House of Representatives. He was later also the building policy spokesman for his group. He only resigned his mandate in 1979.

Memberships

Blasek had been a member of the SPD since 1957. He was also a member of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt and the German Employees' Union .
