Adolf Eugen Schulte

Adolf Eugen Schulte (born April 27, 1874 in Neuss ; † September 3, 1941 ) was a German mechanical engineer and manager.

Life

Adolf Eugen Schulte was the son of Friedrich Hermann Schulte, director of the Rheinische AG für Papierfabrikation in Neuss, and Marie, geb. Bean. He attended the royal high school in Neuss . After graduating from high school, he studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover . In 1893 he became a member of the Corps Hannovera Hannover . After completing his studies, which he interrupted for practical work and military service as a one-year volunteer , from 1900 to 1903 he was government construction manager for mechanical engineering at the Speldorf railway workshop , the telegraph inspection and the construction department in the district of the Essen Railway Directorate . After passing the government master builder exam in 1903, he took leave of absence to work in industry. In 1904 he finally resigned from civil service.

As a result, Schulte was a project engineer, until 1907 head of the project planning office for power stations and most recently chief engineer and authorized signatory of C. Stahmer AG in Georgsmarienhütte . After their merger with the Maschinenfabrik Bruchsal AG, vorm. Schnabel & Henning for Deutsche Eisenbahnsignalwerke AG , based in Bruchsal and Georgsmarienhütte, he became a deputy member of the board of the new company in 1919. In 1921 he joined as a board member for railway signal Bauanstalt Max Jüdel & Co. AG in Braunschweig. In 1923 he became chairman of the board. After another merger, he became chairman of the board of the Eisenbahnsignal-Bauanstalten Max Jüdel, Stahmer, Bruchsal AG based in Braunschweig in 1925 . In 1927 he also became managing director of the United Eisenbahn-Signalwerke GmbH , a joint venture between Siemens & Halske AG , AEG and the Eisenbahnsignal-Bauanstalten Max Jüdel, Stahmer, Bruchsal AG .

Schulte was a member of the board of directors of the Braunschweig Metal Industry Association and the Economic Association of Braunschweig Industries . He was a member of the executive board of the economic group from industry and trade in Braunschweig. Furthermore, he was a representative of the employers on the board of the Braunschweigische Landesversicherungsanstalt , the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Crafts , the shop stewards committee of the German state insurance institutions in the Association of German Employers' Associations in Berlin and as a deputy member of the state railway councils Magdeburg and Hanover and the Weser-Ems waterway advisory board in Berlin. He was chairman of the supervisory board of National-Jürgens-Brauerei AG in Braunschweig and a member of the regional committee for Central Germany of Commerz- und Privat-Bank AG in Braunschweig. He was a board member of the Volkslesehalle association and was a member of the administrative boards of the Hanover University Community and the Braunschweig University of Applied Sciences . He was married to Anna Hagen. The couple had two daughters and a son.
