Adolf Jacobsen
Adolf Gerhard Claudius Jacobsen (born July 13, 1852 in Schleswig ; † February 2, 1941 in Swinoujscie ) was a leather manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .
Jacobsen attended elementary school in Schleswig until 1869 and then learned tannery in Schleswig for three years . As a craftsman, he wandered through Germany and neighboring countries . He was a three-year-old volunteer from 1872 to 1875 with the Schleswig Infantry Regiment No. 84 - Manstein - in Schleswig.
From 1877 to 1879 he was foreman of a leather factory in Schleswig. In 1879 he established himself as a leather dresser with one worker and in 1890 he acquired the leather factory Wiengreen & Co, which had 240 workers in 1898, but in 1899 he had to file for bankruptcy.
From 1898 to 1902 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Province of Schleswig-Holstein 3 Schleswig , Eckernförde and the Free People's Party .
