Adolf König (politician)
Adolf König (born June 28, 1850 in Witten ; † November 23, 1900 ) was a doctor and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
König attended grammar school in Duisburg and the universities of Göttingen , Kiel and Vienna . During his studies he became a member of the Brunsviga fraternity in 1869 . From 1876 he was a doctor in Witten and an institution doctor in the Diakonissenanstalt. He was also a city councilor for 5 years and a magistrate for 6 years in Witten. For Westphalia, König was a leading figure in Protestant anti - Semitism .
From July 24, 1893 to February 26, 1895 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Kassel 1 ( Rinteln , Hofgeismar , Wolfhagen ) and the anti - Semitic German Social Party . His mandate was declared invalid in 1895.
