Adolf Wilhelm Hillingh

Adolf Wilhelm Hillingh (born December 19, 1807 in Emden , † August 14, 1878 in Aurich ) was a German administrative officer and politician.

Life

Hillingh studied law at the Universities of Giessen , Berlin and Göttingen . In 1825/26 he became a member of the Corps Frisia Göttingen . After graduating, he became an auditor in Emden in 1831. In 1832 he passed the legal assessor exam and became an official assessor in Norden . In 1841 he came to Leer as a civil servant. From 1843 to 1852 he was mayor of Leer . In 1852 he was appointed bailiff of the newly established Timmel Office. From 1859 to 1867 he was bailiff of the Aurich office , into which the Timmel office had been reintegrated in 1859.

From 1867 until his death in 1878, Hillingh sat in the Prussian House of Representatives as a member of the constituency of Hanover 1 (Aurich) . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party .

Hillingh had been with Agneta Juliane Vocke, daughter of the Emden businessman Carl Vocke and Catharina born since 1834. Thoben, married childless.
