Adolf von Huebbenet
Adolf Jakowlewitsch von Huebbenet (Адольф Яковлевич фон Гюбенет; born September 12, 1830 in Pskow ; † March 24, 1901 in Saint Petersburg ) was a statesman in the Russian Empire of German-Baltic descent.
Life
He studied law at the Imperial University of St. Petersburg . In 1869 he became a real councilor and in 1875 a privy councilor . In 1882 he became a senator and in 1889 a member of the Reichsrat. From 1889 to 1892 he was Minister of Transport. It was passed in 1892. Since 1889 he was an honorary member of the Academy of Sciences .
His grave of the sculptor Marija Lvovna Dillon is in the Novodevichy Cemetery in the Moscow district of Saint Petersburg. It is protected as a cultural monument No. 7810319125 of the Russian Federation.
