Adolf von Walderdorff

Adolf Wilderich Graf von Walderdorff (* July 21, 1835 at Hauzenstein Castle , Wenzenbach , † May 28, 1919 in Möggingen ) was a manor owner and member of the Reichstag .

Adolf Wilderich Graf von Walderdorff was the son of the Imperial Chamberlain Eduard Graf von Walderdorff (* 1801) and his wife Leopoldine Countess von Oberndorff (1801-1851). Adolf's older brother Hugo Graf von Walderdorff (* 1828) became imperial treasurer and lieutenant colonel. His uncle Carl Wilderich von Walderdorff was Minister of State of Nassau.

Walderdorff attended the universities of Munich , Freiburg im Breisgau and Vienna until 1859 . He was a royal Bavarian chamberlain at Castle Kürn and a knight of the House Knight Order of St. George . From 1871 to 1874 and from 1889 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the center for the constituency of Upper Palatinate 1 ( Regensburg ). In 1874, 1877, 1878 and 1881 his candidacy for the Reichstag failed in the Reichstag constituency of Wiesbaden 1 district .

From 13. to 16. In September 1880 he was Vice President of the German Catholic Convention in Constance .

family

Walderdorff married Countess Fanny von Seinsheim on May 18, 1869 (* May 21, 1842, † December 2, 1875). The couple had several children:

  • Maria (* September 28, 1871) ⚭ 1897 Count Otmar von und zu Bodman († May 10, 1930)
  • Leopoldine Wilderike Charlotte Nikodema Maria (* September 15, 1873) ⚭ 1894 Count Leopold von Spee († January 3, 1920), District Administrator, Lord of Godenhaus

After the death of his first wife, he married Countess Marie von Rechber and Tothenköwen in Donzdorf on July 16, 1878 (* August 8, 1844, † April 1, 1914)
