The constituency of the German Reich.
The Reichstag constituency of the province of Hessen-Nassau - Wiesbaden 1 region was a constituency for the Reichstag elections in the German Reich and in the North German Confederation from 1867 to 1918.
Constituency layout
It comprised the former Nassau offices of Idstein , Königstein , Höchst , Hochheim , Usingen , and Homburg (i.e. the districts of Obertaunus , Höchst , Usingen ).
It was a highly competitive constituency, which was mostly decided in runoff elections and in which re-elections were not frequent.
