Richard Westernacher (born November 26, 1846 in Herrnhaag ; † January 13, 1924 in Lindheim ) was a Hessian politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Richard Westernacher was the son of the economist and landlord in Lindheim, Ferdinand Westernacher (1817–1881) and his wife Marie, born Jordan (* 1804). He married Charlotte Friederike Caroline Katharina nee Draudt (* 1848), the daughter of the Büdesheim landlord Karl Friedrich Christian Ludwig Draudt.

Richard Westernacher was a tenant tenant, senior bailiff and economist in Lindheim.

politics

From the 26th to the 30th electoral term (1887–1899) he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the state estates he represented the constituency of Upper Hesse 13 / Büdingen .

The Reichstag candidacy in the Reichstag constituency of Wiesbaden 1 district in 1893 only just failed. In the first ballot he was 27.6%, a good 5 percentage points behind the SPD candidate Friedrich Brühne . In the second ballot it rose to 49.5% and was only 200 votes behind Brühne.

Richard Westernacher was the second chairman of the BdL in Upper Hesse .
