Konrad Dietz

Johann Konrad Friedrich Franz Dietz (born January 2, 1780 in Wetzlar ; † July 24, 1866 in Gießen ) was a Hessian judge and conservative politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Konrad Dietz was the son of the Councilor Johann Jacob Christian Dietz and his wife Caroline Wilhelmine Maria, née Buff, the daughter of the Teutonic Order bailiff Heinrich Adam Buff. Dietz, who was Protestant, married Johannette Eleonore Henriette née Keller (1800–1873) on August 30, 1822 in Orleshausen .

Dietz studied law and became director of the Büdingen General Justice Chancellery, privy councilor in 1822 and director of the Giessen court in 1825 . In 1848 he was retired.

From 1829 to 1830 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 10 / Lauterbach .
