Otto Zinsser

Otto Zinsser (born September 18, 1849 in elections ; † January 22, 1919 in Schlitz ) was a Hessian manufacturer and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Otto Zinsser was the son of the doctor Theodor Zinsser (1825–1901) and his wife Anna Maria, née Mess (or Neeß, 1832–1862). Zinsser, who was a Protestant, married on November 24, 1874 in Schlitz Maria Christine, née Hagemann, widowed Werle, (1841–1913). Zinsser studied at the University of Würzburg and became a manufacturer in Schlitz.

From 1887 to 1902 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 9 / Lauterbach-Schlitz . In 1880 he became mayor of Schlitz.
