Friedrich Lange (politician)

Friedrich Karl Lange (born June 17, 1791 in Wetzlar , † October 28, 1859 in Schlitz ) was a Hessian court councilor , politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Lange was the son of Count Johann Friedrich Ludwig Wolfgang Lange (1760–1836) and his wife Anna Elisabeth, née Schnorr (1763–1834). Lange, who was of Protestant faith, married Elisabeth nee Sandmeister from Hersfeld. Lange was Hofrat in 1828 and Councilor at the Schlitz Consistory in 1831.

From 1851 to 1856 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 7 / Lauterbach .
