Alexander Stöpler

Alexander Ernst Stöpler (born June 25, 1848 in Lauterbach ; † March 14, 1922 ibid) was a Hessian businessman and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Alexander Stöpler was the son of Johannes Stöpler and his wife Loise, nee Gräulich. Stöpler, who was of Protestant faith, was a businessman, later an authorized signatory in Lauterbach, and there married Katharina nee Stöhr on November 16, 1876.

From 1902 to 1918 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 9 / Lauterbach . From 1887 to 1922 he was mayor of Lauterbach.
