Friedrich Brühne (born August 20, 1855 in Bringhausen , † May 27, 1928 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Live and act

Friedrich Brühne was born the son of a small farmer. After attending primary school , Brühne was trained as a shoemaker. In 1876 he became a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). In 1898 he was appointed to the control commission of his party. A year later, Brühne took over his first public office when he became a city councilor for the SPD in Frankfurt am Main.

From 1893 to 1898 and from 1907 to 1919, Brühne was a member of the Reichstag as a member of the Reichstag constituency Wiesbaden 1 district . After the November Revolution of 1918, he sat from January 1919 to June 1920 as a member of the Weimar National Assembly , in which he represented constituency 19 (Province of Hesse-Nassau ).
