Wilhelm Georg Neubronner

Wilhelm Neubronner (born August 18, 1813 in Kronberg im Taunus ; † February 21, 1894 there ) was a German pharmacist and politician.

Life

Neubronner attended the Wiesbaden high school and studied pharmacy at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1833 he became active in the Corps Hassia (II) Heidelberg. Afterwards he worked at the court pharmacy in Kronberg . In accordance with the medical edict of 1818 , he was appointed official pharmacist and was thus responsible for the supply of medicines in the Königstein office.

In the German Revolution of 1848/49 he was a major in the vigilante group in Kronbach. He invented the pigeon recipe mail and was a co-founder of the Volksbank Kronberg . Otto von Bismarck was a frequent hunting guest in the Taunus . From 1867 to 1871 Neubronner was a member of the National Liberal Party in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Wiesbaden District 1 (Obertaunus, Höchst, Usingen) . In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament , which met from 1868 to 1870 .

He was married to Eugenie Dorothea Albertine geb. Loewe (born October 11, 1819 in Leipzig, † May 16, 1886 in Kronberg). Their daughter Sophie Johanna married the Hachenburg official pharmacist and MP Wilhelm Mergler .
