Karl Mohr (politician, 1820)

Karl Anton Mohr (born October 4, 1820 in Niederneisen ; † October 4, 1885 there ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Mohr received the usual school education and became a farmer in Niederneisen near Diez . He was a member of the district council from 1849 until the repeal of the Nassau district constitution in 1854. He was later elected to the Nassau Estates Assembly for 1856 and 1857 , to which he later belonged again from 1863 to 1866. After the annexation in 1867 he was a representative of the Untertaunuskreis in the Prussian House of Representatives until 1872 and for the Unterlahnkreis from 1874 until his death .

From 1881 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Wiesbaden 1 Obertaunus, Höchst, Usingen and the German Progressive Party .
