The constituency of the German Reich.

The Reichstag constituency of the province of Hessen-Nassau - Kassel 3 administrative district was a constituency for the Reichstag elections in the German Empire and the North German Confederation from 1867 to 1918.

Constituency layout

It included the former Hessian circles Fritzlar , Homberg and Ziegenhain .

The Conservatives, who had won the constituency since 1881, fell out in 1890. The majority of the conservatives continued to support Otto von Gehren, an "agricultural group" instead spoke out in favor of Philipp von Hanau-Hořovice. There was only one ballot. The number of eligible voters was 15,302. 10,261 votes were cast, the turnout was 67.1%. The number of valid votes was 10,251.
