Adolfo Turchi

Adolfo Turchi (born October 24, 1863 in Balignano , Italy ; † May 2, 1929 ) was Archbishop of L'Aquila .

Life

Adolfo Turchi received on 27 May 1887, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 30, 1909 appointed him Pope Pius X to the Bishop of Caiazzo . The Archbishop of Ancona and Numana , Giovanni Battista Ricci , donated him episcopal ordination on September 5th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Osimo and Cingoli , Giovanni Battista Scotti , and the Bishop of Cesena , Giovanni Cazzani .

Pope Benedict XV appointed him on September 8, 1914 titular bishop of Canopus and secretary of the religious congregation . On July 17, 1918, Adolfo Turchi became Archbishop of L'Aquila.
