Giovanni Battista Ricci (born February 6, 1845 in Montenovo , Province of Ancona , Italy , † November 10, 1929 ) was Archbishop of Ancona and Numana .

Life

Giovanni Battista Ricci received on 21 September 1867, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 29, 1895, Pope Leo XIII appointed him . to the bishop of Macerata and Tolentino . The cardinal vicar for the diocese of Rome , Lucido Maria Cardinal Parocchi , donated him episcopal ordination on December 1st of the same year . On June 9, 1902, Leo XIII appointed him. to the bishop of Jesi . Pope Pius X appointed him Archbishop of Ancona and Numana on July 21, 1906.
