Adolph Windecker (also: Adolf , Dvorak names Adolf Johann Georg ) (born November 13, 1857 in Friedberg ; † March 6, 1939 there ) was a Hessian lawyer and politician ( German People's Party (German Empire) ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Adolph Windecker was the son of the businessman Johann Anton Windecker (1816–1873) and his wife Susanne Margarethe, née Hartmann (1828–1905). Windecker, who was of Protestant faith, married Klara Mathilde née Müller (1868–1952) on March 24, 1888.

After attending the Friedberger Gymnasium, Windecker studied law at the University of Giessen from 1875 . There he became a member of the Alemannia Gießen fraternity in 1877 . In 1882 he was admitted to the bar at the Darmstadt Regional Court and in 1899 at the Giessen Regional Court . In 1904 he became a judicial advisor, later a secret judicial advisor .

From 1904 to 1905 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 2 / Nauheim . 1909–1933 he was a member of the district assembly , from 1913 also an alderman for the city of Friedberg, as well as a city ​​councilor . In 1927 he became an honorary citizen of Friedberg.
