Adrián Enríquez

Adrián Enríquez (* 1984 in the Entre Ríos Province , Argentina ) is an Argentine tango musician .

Life

Adrián Enríquez has been a pianist in tango ensembles and orchestras since his youth. Among his teachers are Nicolás Ledesma and Emilio Balcarce , under whom Enríquez graduated from the Orquesta Escuela de Tango .

As a pianist he worked with Emilio Balcarce , Carlos Galván , Roberto Álvarez , Leopoldo Federico and Osvaldo Piro , among others .

Enríquez played in the ensemble of Julio Bocca and regularly appears with the Sexteto Mayor . He has also been heard with the Ramiro Gallo Quinteto and the Orquesta Arquetípica (also under Ramiro Gallo ) since 2004 , as well as the Orquesta Federal del Tango , the Sexteto de Madero Tango and the Orquesta típica Pichuco .

The pianist founded his own ensembles with the bandoneonist Marco Antonio Fernández and the guitarist Diego "Dipi" Kvito. With his quartet Cuarteto Entre Ríos , he recorded the album Barbaridá in 2018, which relates the tango to the chamamé through the arrangement of the titles.

Concert tours have taken him around the world. Enríquez is a guest in Germany every year as a pianist and lecturer and works with musicians and orchestras who have dedicated themselves to tango here.

Orchestra conductor and lecturer

At the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel de Falla , Buenos Aires, Enríquez is an integral part of the professors in the field of tango / folklore and responsible for ensemble work. He is also active as a lecturer in the annual international course Tango para Músicos (Tango for musicians).
