NGC 3732 is a lenticular galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SB0 / a in the constellation Becher in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 70 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3721 , NGC 3722 , NGC 3724 , NGC 3730 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on March 4, 1786 .
