NGC 3756 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 62 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years in diameter. Together with eight other galaxies, it forms the NGC 3898 group ( LGG 250 ).
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 3733 , NGC 3738 , NGC 3759 , IC 2943 , among others .

The type IIP supernova SN 1975T was observed here.

The object was discovered by William Herschel on April 14, 1789 .
