NGC 3758 is a merging galaxy of the Hubble type Sab with an active galaxy core in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 398 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3743 , NGC 3746 , NGC 3750 , NGC 3751 .
The object was discovered by Ralph Copeland on March 18, 1874 .
