Roberto Álvarez

Roberto Álvarez (born May 5, 1968 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Comodoro Rivadavia .

Life

Roberto Álvarez received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Córdoba on December 14, 1998 .

In addition to various tasks in pastoral care, most recently as pastor in Cosquín , he was a lecturer at the diocesan seminary until his appointment as bishop .

On November 28, 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Sozopolis in Haemimonto and auxiliary bishop in Comodoro Rivadavia. The Archbishop of Cordoba, Carlos José Ñáñez , donated him episcopal ordination on December 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Cordoba, Pedro Javier Torres and Ricardo Orlando Seirutti .
