Adriano Cevolotto

Adriano Cevolotto (born April 29, 1958 in Treviso ) is an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and appointed Bishop of Piacenza-Bobbio .

Life

Adriano Cevolotto attended the episcopal boys' seminary and then completed the theological studies at the seminary . On May 26, 1984 he received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Treviso .

After further studies at the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy , he obtained a licentiate in systematic theology . In addition to various tasks in pastoral care, he worked for a long time in the training of priests. So for years he taught sacramental theology at the seminary of Treviso, the rain , he from 2000 by 2005. Before that, he had been responsible for the training of the young priests for two years. Since 2014 he has been Vicar General of the Diocese of Treviso.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Piacenza-Bobbio on July 16, 2020.
