Carlos Adriano de Souza Vieira (born August 11, 1977 in Maceió ), also known as Adriano Gabiru , is a Brazilian midfielder .

Career

Adriano began his career in 1996 with the Brazilian club CS Alagoano . From 1998 to 2005 he was under contract with Atletico Paranaense . There he was loaned to the French club Olympique Marseille in the 1999/00 season and to the Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte club in the 2004/05 season . On January 1, 2006, he moved to SC Internacional . In December 2006, he scored the only goal in the FIFA Club World Cup in a 1-0 win against Spanish club FC Barcelona .

In 2007 it was awarded to the clubs Figueirense FC and Sport Recife for six months each. From May to December 2008 it was awarded to Goiás EC . His next stop was the Azerbaijani club FK Keşlə . He then moved to Guarani FC in 2009 . His other positions were in 2011 J. Malucelli Futebol , 2012 the clubs CS Alagoano and Guarany FC . From 2014 to 2017 he was under contract with the clubs Conilon FC , SE Panambi and CA Taboão da Serra .
