Adrienne Danielle Frantz (born June 7, 1978 in Mount Clemens , Michigan ) is an American actress , singer and songwriter . She gained fame through the role of Amber Moore in the television series Reich und Schön , for which she received the Daytime Emmy Award in 2001.

life and career

Frantz became interested in singing and acting from an early age . As a teenager, she regularly sang the national anthem at sporting events in Detroit . After her parents divorced, she moved to New York at the age of 16 to study acting. There she stood in front of the camera for the first time for commercials .

Frantz 'career began in 1997 after moving to Los Angeles : In the Aaron Spelling - soap opera Sunset Beach , she took over the role of Tiffany Thorne . In the same year she switched to the soap opera Reich und Schön , in which she quickly became one of the most popular actors. In addition to acting, she is also working on a career as a singer: In the series, she sang her own compositions several times. In 2005 she left Reich und Schön to record an album and to devote herself only to music. She was with fellow singer John Rzeznik of the rock group Goo Goo Dolls for a long time before they split in 2005. From 2006 to 2010 she was back in front of the camera as Amber Moore . In the summer of 2007, their first album Anomaly was released on Wrong Records.
