Aenni Hartung

Aenni Hartung , actually Anna Maria Catharina Hartung , (born May 31, 1891 in Düsseldorf , † July 23, 1983 in Andernach ) was a German painter.

Life

Hartung was the daughter of the Koblenz painter Heinrich Hartung III. and sister of Heinrich Hartung IV. She attended the Ursuline School in Koblenz and learned painting from her father and Franz Molitor . From 1913 to 1914 she studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Professor Willy Spatz , member of the Düsseldorf School of Painting . From 1916 to 1917 she attended the arts and crafts school in Koblenz. She was interested in landscape painting, vedutas and motifs in and around Koblenz. In 1921 Aenni Hartung received an award for the draft of the Koblenz emergency money .
