Africa Prize for Leadership for the Sustainable End of Hunger

The Africa Prize for Leadership for the Sustainable End of Hunger is endowed with 100,000 US dollars (annually). The award is given to politicians who have made a name for themselves in bringing about a sustainable end to human hunger. It is awarded by The Hunger Project , a not-for-profit organization based in New York . Conferences are also held as part of the award ceremony.
