Aftershock ( Chinese  唐山 大 地震 , Pinyin Tángshān Dàdìzhèn ) is a Chinese disaster film from 2010. The film is about the Tangshan earthquake on July 27, 1976. Directed by Feng Xiaogang . The budget was just under $ 25 million.

In 1976 Tangshan was hit by a massive earthquake that tore apart two siblings, along with numerous other victims. Her mother has to decide which of the two children will be rescued, as a concrete slab threatens to crush them both.
