Agapios Salomon Naoum
Agapios Salomon Naoum BS (born August 1, 1882 in Wadi Ed Deir , Lebanon , † May 1, 1967 ) was Archbishop of Tire of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Lebanon.
Life
On September 8, 1907, he was ordained as a religious priest of the Melkite Basilians by the Most Holy Redeemer . On November 3, 1933 he was appointed successor to Archbishop Maximos IV. Sayegh and on December 3, 1933 Patriarch Kyrillos IX donated to him . Moghabghab the episcopal ordination . At the same time he was appointed titular archbishop of Tarsus dei Greco-Melkiti , he retired from October 15, 1965 and was senior archbishop of Tire until his death on May 1, 1967 . He was succeeded by Archbishop Georges Haddad .
