Agersø is a Danish island between Smålandsfarvandet ( German  Smålandsfahrwasser ) and the Great Belt off Zealand .

The 684 hectare island extends 7 km from north to south and 3 km from east to west. The highest point of Agersø is 12 m above sea level. The island forms its own parish community ( Dan. : Sogn ) Agersø Sogn , and belonged until 1970 Harde Vester Flakkebjerg Herred in the former Soro Office , since the skælskør municipality in the former West Zealand , with the municipal reform on 1 January 2007 in Slagelse municipality in the Sjælland region. Most of the island's area is used for agriculture.

186 people live on the island (as of January 1, 2020). Agersø belongs to the Association of Danish Small Islands .

Agersø is an intertwined network of colorful houses and farms. A village pond forms the center for the residents. In the small port, fishermen devote themselves to their catch and offer fishing trips in the up to 63 meters deep sea area.

The most beautiful natural areas are at Egholm at the northern tip of Agersø and at Omøsund in the south of the island, where the small Helleholm connects to Agersø. The island and the Holme have great flora and bird life. The island's moors, beaches and salt grass meadows are used as nesting sites by many different mudflats and beach birds.

The ferry takes 15 minutes to cross to Stigsnæs .

The scarp is a boulder . It is located 30 meters from the coast in the sea, near Helholmvej. It is about 1.3 meters high, 2.2 meters wide and 3.5 meters long.
