Agnieszka Szymańczak (born November 11, 1984 in Bielsko-Biała ) is a former Polish cross-country skier .

Career

Szymańczak took part in competitions of the Fédération Internationale de Ski from 2001 to 2014 . From 2006 she mainly competed in the Slavic Cup, in which she won seven races and took first place in the overall standings in the 2011/12 season. She ran her first of a total of 20 World Cup races in November 2010 in Gällivare , which she finished with 83rd place in the 10 km freestyle. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo were 47th place in the 30 km mass start race and eighth place in the relay. In February 2012 she got her first World Cup points in Szklarska Poręba with the 27th place in the sprint. This was also her best result in a World Cup individual race. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme were 27th place in the skiathlon and ninth place in the relay and in the team sprint. After the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , where she finished 45th in the 15 km skiathlon and 41st place in the sprint, she ended her career.
