Agricultural Alliance
The Agrarian Alliance e. V. is an amalgamation of organizations from agriculture, environmental, nature and animal protection as well as consumer and development policy (as of 2012). The lobby organization has been the publisher of the agricultural policy yearbook The Critical Agricultural Report every year since 1993 .
purpose
The purpose of the association according to its own information is:
- the maintenance and creation of a wide range of jobs in agriculture, rural handicrafts and rural trades,
- the maintenance of a functional rural area and its rural structure,
- the production of healthy and tasty food,
- an environmentally friendly and animal-friendly agricultural production on the entire agricultural area,
- the equal status of women in the countryside and especially women farmers,
- Sufficient remuneration for agricultural work through appropriate sales of the products,
- a redistribution of agricultural expenditure in favor of environmentally friendly and animal-friendly farming production and marketing,
- behavior in solidarity towards people in the third world.
