Ahmed Ezzobayry
Ahmed Ezzobayry (born June 6, 1978 in Ait Sidi Daoud , Al Haouz ) is a French marathon runner of Moroccan origin.
In the junior race of the World Cross Country Championships in 1997 , he came in 39th place. In 1999 he moved to France and joined the Foreign Legion , of which he was a member until 2004.
In 2005 he qualified on his debut over the 42.195 km distance in eleventh place at the Paris Marathon for the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki , where he did not reach the goal. The following year he was fifth in the Berlin Marathon .
In 2007 he finished eleventh in the Paris half marathon , eighth in the Paris marathon and French champion in the 10 km road race . An eleventh place in the Ottawa Marathon in 2008 was followed by a second in the Mont-Saint-Michel Marathon in 2009 .
Ahmed Ezzobayry is 1.75 m tall and weighs 61 kg. He is trained by Claude Minni. In 2006 he moved from Olympique de Marseille Athlétisme to Alès Cévennes Athlétisme.
