Ahmed Sassi (born September 24, 1993 in Tunis ) is a Tunisian football player .

Career

society

Sassi began his career in the youth of Espérance Tunis . On May 2, 2010, he made his debut in the game against Club Africain Tunis in the top division of Tunisia, when he came on in the 90th minute for Youssef Msakni . At the end of the 2009/10 season, Sassi won the championship with his club.

For the 2011/12 season, Sassi moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . There he was first used in the second team , for which he made his debut on September 24, 2011 against FC Ingolstadt 04 II in the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd . In addition to deployments in the U-23, he was also deployed twice in the A-Youth (U-19) in the A-Youth Bundesliga in his last year of youth .

For the 2012/13 season, Sassi moved up to the professional squad. As a non-EU foreigner, he was no longer eligible to play as a men's player for the second team. Since the beginning of the 2014/15 season , Sassi was no longer in the Bundesliga squad and has since played in friendly matches for the second team.

In September 2015 Sassi returned to his homeland, where he joined the first division club Athlétique Bizertin .

Sassi has played four times for Tunisia's U-21s so far.
