Airlink was an airline based in Madang , Papua New Guinea . Airlink provided a high frequency flight schedule and charter service to the more remote areas of Papua New Guinea. Airlink's hub was Madang Airport .
history
The airline was founded in 1989 and started regular service in June 1990. Airlink bought Talair aircraft in October 1990. The company suffered from the severe conditions expected from the Rabaul volcanic eruption in 1994, including the loss of four aircraft. In 2007 Airlink ceased operations.
