Aithra (Oceanid)
Aethra ( ancient Greek Αἴθρα ) is in Greek mythology a Oceanid , daughter of Oceanus and Tethys .
She is the wife of Atlas and of him the mother of Hyas and the Hyades . As the wife of Atlas, the name Aithra appears only sporadically, the Oceanid Pleione is often mentioned in its place .
