Alain Grange
Alain Grange is a French studio and jazz cellist .
Life
Grange worked since the late 1980s a. a. in the field of dance, theater and pop music, with Abed Azrié ( Suerte Live in Berlin ), Lambert Wilson and in the jazz formations Sound of Choice (album Invisible Correspondance 2003, among others with Fredrik Lundin and Hasse Poulsen ), in the Orchester National de Jazz ( Sequences , 1999) and 7 WHEELS (with Bruno Chevillon, among others ). In the field of jazz he was involved in ten recording sessions between 1997 and 2009, including a. with Riccardo Del Fra ( Pour Rire! 1997), Andreas Willers ( Montauk , 2005, with Dominique Pifarély ) and Regis Huby , outside of jazz also with Julia Migenes , Paddy Kelly , Jean-Claude Asselin and Édouard Ferlet . In 2004 he recorded the album Phrasen under his own name , on which Joachim Kühn contributed. Grange teaches jazz and cello at the Jazz à Tours music school .
