Alain Émile Baptiste Planet (born November 18, 1948 in Privas , Ardèche department , France ) is Bishop of Carcassonne-Narbonne .
Life
Alain Planet was ordained a priest on May 24, 1981 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Carcassonne on June 28, 2004. The Archbishop of Montpellier , Guy Thomazeau , consecrated him bishop on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jacques Joseph Marie Despierre IdP , Bishop Emeritus of Carcassonne, and Jean-Christophe Lagleize , Bishop of Valence . As a motto he chose Si Deus pro nobis quis contra nos? .
