Alain Wertheimer
Alain Ernest Wertheimer (born September 28, 1948 in Paris ) is a French entrepreneur .
Life
Wertheimer is the son of Jacques Wertheimer and Eliane Fischer. Together with his brother Gérard Wertheimer , he holds the majority control in the French company Chanel and has been managing it since 1974. Wertheimer lives in Geneva . In addition to various horse studs in France, he and his brother own several wineries in France and California as well as an extensive collection of paintings . His personal fortune is, according to Forbes Magazine 12.7 billion US dollars (as of November 2017).
