The Alamüdün ( Kyrgyz Аламүдүн ; Russian Аламеди́н / Alamedin) is a left tributary of the Tschüi in the north of Kyrgyzstan .

It has a length of 78 km and drains an area of ​​317 km². The mean discharge is 6.33 m³ / s.

The Alamüdün rises on the northern slope of the main ridge of the Kyrgyz mountains . It is fed by the glaciers . The river flows through a narrow mountain valley in a northerly direction. The Ala-Artscha flows in the western neighboring valley . The Alamüdün finally leaves the mountains and reaches the steppe. Much of the river water is diverted for irrigation purposes . The river runs through the eastern part of the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek and finally reaches the left bank of the Tschüi.
