Brendan James Penny (born before 1980 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .
life and career
Brendan Perry was born in Ottawa, Canada. At the age of 23 he moved to Vancouver and studied at Fanshawe College in London and the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.
Brendan Penny began his acting career in 2003 with a guest appearance on Jake 2.0 . Between 2005 and 2006 he was in a total of three episodes of the series The L Word - When women love women . Penny had his breakthrough in 2006 with the role of AJ Varland in the series The Secrets of Whistler , which he impersonated in the first season. 2008 followed a recurring role in the series Stargate Atlantis . Penny starred in the short-lived series The Assistants in 2009 before starring in the 2010 film Tooth Fairy on parole . Penny has been part of the main cast in the Motive series since 2013 .
