Alan B. McElroy

Alan B. McElroy (born October 1960 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is an American screenwriter .

Life

After graduating from Hawken School , Alan McElroy originally wanted to be a writer, but previously studied psychology at Boston University , Miami University and Miami's European campus in Luxembourg . But shortly after graduating, he wrote his own script based on an article from Writer's Digest and moved with him and his wife Kymm to Los Angeles , where he was one of 30 other writers in the Columbia Pictures Writing Program .

After writing the screenplay of Halloween IV - Michael Myers Returns for the first time in 1988 , he was then involved in the scripts of other horror and action films such as Spawn , Tekken and The Marine .
