The Alb Valley (English for Chorhemdtal ) is a valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is part of the Campbell Glacier in the Transantarctic Mountains .
Its name goes back to participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909) of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton . The northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) of British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott , led by Victor Campbell , named it Kar Terrace , but this name did not prevail. It is listed under the first name in the New Zealand Provisional Gazetteer of the Ross Dependency .
